St Fin Barre's Cathedral contains one of the finest collections of stained glassfrom the nineteenth century.   The  complete vision of architect William Burgess who not only designed the building but all the fittings, furnishings and decorations including the complete scheme of stained glass.  All drawn from the purity of design from the medieval period to complete a entire and unique uniformity of style and iconographic scheme.

Damage to the Jonah window in the Cathedral's North Transcept.

 

 

Original cartoons aand drawinng from the Cathedrals archives were researched to aid the repairs.

 

 

The restored panel reinstated in its original position.
